Dropping first in November will be the AMM x Air Jordan 5 “Dawn,” which sees the silhouette take on a predominately white colorway with the appeal anchored in the small details. The silhouette’s signature TPU cage at midfoot has been retooled to feature a custom monogram pattern in yellow that repeats on the tongue. This pattern is then used again on the blue jacquard sockliner, while AMM’s standard “A” logo appears on the tongue and beneath the translucent yellow outsole.

AMM founder James Whitner gave the following quote referencing Maya Angelou and James Baldwin in a press release announcing the collection: “Black identity is not a monolith and the Black experience isn’t uniform. It is our diversity that is our strength, we are unified in more ways than the world wants us to believe. All our previous stories led into this moment, building this first chapter we now bring to a close by opening our arms out to the world to bring us all in, across our communities, the diaspora and the world to celebrate unity and culture — but also the one common experience we all have: being desired for your culture, never being told that you belong, but still showing up to do the work — from dusk til dawn.”
An accompanying clothing capsule will consist of a bomber jacket, pant and Anorak set, hoodies, and T-shirts in a mix of cream, black, and navy.
The A Ma Maniére x Air Jordan 5 “Dawn” will release Nov. 17 through the boutique’s website, and a raffle is open from now through Nov. 14. Pricing is set at $225 for women’s sizes, $100 for preschool, and $85 for toddler. AMM will announce release details for the “Dusk” Air Jordan 5 at another date.
