Today, Calvin Klein revealed its first fragrance to come out since Raf Simons joined as chief creative officer in 2016. For the new scent Calvin Klein Women, two Hollywood heavy-hitters were tapped to be faces for the brand: Lupita Nyong'o and Saoirse Ronan.

The campaign, directed by artist Anne Collier, features both striking, minimalist portraits of the award-winning actresses alongside women they have personally been inspired by. Nyong'o chose Eartha Kitt and Katharine Hepburn, while Ronan picked Sissy Spacek and Nina Simone.

"The campaign is an exploration of femininity-a group of women bonded by a common thread; the desire to have the power to create their own identity, and to support and lead the way for those that come after them," Simons said in a press release. He explained that Women, which features notes of eucalyptus acorns, orange flower petals, and Alaskan cedarwood, is inspired by "freedom of expression" and "the transmission of strength and inspiration from woman to the next."

This isn't Nyong'o's first foray into beauty-she's been a face of makeup brand Lancôme since 2014. It's Ronan's first major beauty campaign.
