Lovi Poe to do movie with Tony Labrusca, Marco Gumabao
23 Aug – Kapuso star Lovi Poe recently revealed that she is set to star in a new movie alongside ABS-CBN actors Marco Gumabao and Tony Labrusca.
As reported on ABS-CBN, the actress shared the good news on Instagram on 20 August with a photo of her with the two actors, writing, "Thrilled to be working alongside [Marco Gumabao] and [Tony Labrusca] for ["In Between Goodbyes"]."
She also shared that the upcoming project will be helmed by Joel Lamangan ("Felix Manalo", "Siphayo"), adding, "Can't wait to start shooting with you, director! You have always been my mentor."
Speaking about the project, Lamangan said that he came up with the story with famed screenwriter Ricky Lee.
"[We] wanted to come up with a unique love story, and we came up with this - how a love never changes, regardless of the state," he said.
