Louisa Mak doesn't think Jacqueline Wong tainted Miss HK's image

22 Apr – Louisa Mak recently dismissed the idea that Jacqueline Wong's cheating scandal could taint the good name of the Miss Hong Kong pageant.

As reported on Mingpao, the actress, who won Miss Hong Kong in 2015, stated that she sees no correlation between one's personal attitude and behaviour with the pageant.

Jacqueline was the first runner up in the Miss Hong Kong 2012 pageant.

"Everyone is a representation of their own selves. You just to be true to who you are. I am not flawless myself. You just have to try to be better," she said.

When asked what she think of Jacqueline, Louisa stated that she has no right to comment about the actress as she is not involved in the issue at all.

"We're colleagues and fellow Miss Hong Kong alumni. But we have only cooperated once or twice in variety shows. We're not that familiar with each other," she said.

Asked if the scandal has made her more wary of the cameras installed in a public transport, Louisa said that she prefers driving her own car instead.
