Louisa Mak denies making a TVB comeback

3 Sep – Louisa Mak has denied "testing the waters" when she appeared at the recently held 2020 Miss Hong Kong pageant.

As reported on Mingpao, the former beauty queen who has not filmed any new series since she decided to focus on her career as a lawyer, looked elegant in her sleek black dress, as she spoke to the media about her return to TVB City.

"The last time I was in TVB was for last year's Miss Hong Kong pageant. Since I have started as Miss Hong Kong, I should do something for the pageant," she said.

Asked if she would be fulfilling her one-year contract, Louisa said that she had no discussions with the company about it.

Asked if her return was a way to test the waters to see if she could make her comeback, Louisa said that she is not making any plans to do so.

"After changing my job, I have already tried to reduce my appearance at public events. I hope to focus on my current work, but since Miss Hong Kong as changed my life, I have to come back and give my support," she said.
