Louis Koo thankful for donation to HKPAG fundraiser

3 Jun – Louis Koo recently expressed his gratitude on behalf of the Hong Kong Performing Artists Guild (HKPAG) to those who donated to their fundraiser for the Hong Kong Film Workers Pandemic Relief project.

As reported on Mingpao, the producer and incumbent president of the said guild, stated that he was happy to see the entire industry unite to help each other through the programme and hopes that the donations will be able to help those in need.

"This difficult period has almost halted the entire industry, with only a few films in production. Filming will not be able to resume quickly due to the current condition, thus in the future, everyone would continue to need to help each other to get over this crisis," he added.

Among those who helped donate to the cause include film studios like China Star Film, Edko Film, Emperor Motion Pictures, Mandarin Film, Media Asia film, as well as Louis' own company, One Cool Pictures, in addition to other individuals that include billionaire Joseph Lau.

Several organisations that will be benefiting the donation include the 12 major affiliated organisations of the Federation of Hong Kong Film Workers like Hong Kong Cinematography Lighting Association, Hong Kong Stuntman Association, and Hong Kong Film Assistant Directors' Association.
