Louis Koo: Johnnie To to handle Ringo Lam's memorial service

15 Jan – Hong Kong actor Louis Koo recently revealed that he is still waiting for Johnnie To to share details about the funeral for filmmaker Ringo Lam, who suddenly passed away late last year.

As reported on HK01, the actor, who appeared on set of his new movie, "Line Walker 2" recently, shared that To will be responsible for handling all matters concerning Lam's memorial service.

"If needed, the Hong Kong Performing Artistes Guild (HKPAG) will provide assistance," said Louis, who is also the current president of the Guild.

Louis admitted that he is still saddened by the sudden nature of Lam's passing, having worked with the director on movies like "Triangle" and "Wild City".

"We have known each other for more than 20 years. It's not easy for me. I have to slowly accept it," he said.

On the other hand, when asked about the reports that he helped paid the advance of HKD 200,000 for veteran actor Lo Hoi Pang's surgery earlier, the actor responded, "It's fine. I have no comment."
