Louie Castro excited over news of Shirley Yeung's pregnancy
21 Oct – Hong Kong singer Louie Castro was over the moon after hearing the news that Shirley Yeung is pregnant with her second child.
As reported on Mingpao, the singer, who is set to perform with Shirley - a guest at his upcoming concert "Me & My Girls in Concert", stated that he didn't know that the actress was pregnant when he first reached out to her to appear on his show.
"We even shot the promotional poster two months ago. I had no clue she was pregnant even back then," he said.
Louie said that Shirley did drop hints about a pregnancy, after she declined to do a dance number - although Shirley's excuse was that she didn't want to have to memorise too many things on stage.
"Now I understand the real reason!" he said gleefully.
The singer assured that he will take good care of Shirley at the upcoming concert.
"I never performed with a pregnant woman before. I will remind her not to get too excited. We don't want her to give birth on stage!" he said in jest.
