17 Feb – Theodore Boborol, the director of Star Cinema's new movie, "James & Pat & Dave" recently admitted that Loisa Andalio was always the studio's first choice in playing one of the titular characters of the said movie.
As reported on Push, the filmmaker who previously helped launched the careers of Julia Barretto and introduced the love team of Barretto and Joshua Garcia through "Vince & Kath & James", stated that the original writer Jenny Ruth Almocera had actually thought of Andalio when writing the character of Pat.
"She was pleasantly surprised that the management had also wanted Loisa too. It was destined to be her turn," said Boborol, adding that Star Cinema's head Olivia Lamasan had been impressed with the actress following her performance in the 2018 movie, "Hospicio".
The new movie is a continuation of the 2016 Metro Manila Film Festival entry which will see Ronnie Alonte reprising his role as James, who - upon meeting Pat, a beach resort staff - agrees to pretend to be her boyfriend to make her ex Dave (Donnie Pangilinan) jealous.
