A local eatery has started selling a Trump-Kim Chi Nasi Lemak set to mark the upcoming summit between US President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un on 12 June.

The fusion dish features American dry-aged beef and kimchi, a traditional Korean dish common in North Korean cuisine.

The nasi lemak set created by start-up Harmony Nasi Lemak, priced at $21, will be available from 4 to 12 June at OSG Bar + Kitchen at Suntec City.

This eatery is not the only local food & beverage establishment capitalising on the upcoming Trump-Kim summit.

Five-star hotel Royal Plaza on Scotts is introducing its Trump-Kim Burger and Summit Iced Tea, priced at $12++ and $6++, respectively, while Mexican restaurant Lucha Loco in Duxton Hill is putting two specialty Korean and Americano tacos on its menu at $10++ each.

Bar-Roque Grill in Tanjong Pagar Road is offering two cocktails, Bourbon Old Fashion and Soju Mojitos, at $12++ each. Likewise, Escobar has launched its Trump and Kim cocktails at $12.60 nett.
