SINGAPORE – If there is anything Singaporeans have in common, it is the love for food and wine (we deserve a treat once in a while). Resorts World Sentosa is bringing The Great Wine & Dine Festival back for the third time this year on 11 & 12 October.

In a nutshell, you can expect famous butter-glistening, wild-caught lobsters, trattoria-style Italian specialties, unpretentious modern European dishes, top grade waygu teppanyaki, over 400 international top wines, and exclusive masterclasses by wine experts.

Feast on Los Angeles’ cult favourite Lobsterdamus

Making its debut on our shores, LA’s cult favourite, Lobsterdamus, will most certainly make a splash at the festival. With Singaporeans’ love for seafood, this will be the one everyone’s eyeing at.

They will be replicating their rich, buttery goodness drizzled on blanched lobster meat that has brought countless hungry customers through their doors in the US.

We are quite sure they will give Jumbo Seafood a run for its money if they decide to open a Singapore outlet here.

Transport yourself to Italy with Fratelli Trattoria’s signature dishes

From heritage Lombardy recipes come Italian selections that are rare even in the cosmopolitan food paradise of Singapore. The legendary Italian celebrity chef brothers Enrico and Roberto Cerea promise to serve up authentic Italian flavours.

Enjoy festival specials made with imported ingredients like crispy Focaccia Genovese with Puglia’s Burrata cheese and Carpegna Prosciutto; homemade Gnocchetti in a scrumptious mixed seafood ragout; and slow roasted Spanish pork belly served with Marsala sauce and truffle mashed potatoes.

You can continue to patronise them at their dinner-service-only Trattoria located in Hotel Michael, Resorts World Sentosa after the festival.

Unpretentious Modern European food with Table 65

Celebrity chefs Richard van Oostenbrugge and Thomas Groot joined forces to present their take on modern European cuisine with an element of fun, on Singapore shores.

For the festival, they will be incorporating locally-sourced ingredients with their contemporary methods, promising your palate an explosion of flavours, with dishes like Pomfret Ceviche with passionfruit, coconut and kaffir lime; Roast Duck Breast with berries, sauce royale and oxalis; and Foie Gras, seaweed and ginger broth and umeboshi.

You can expect more fun and adventurous fine dining without its stuffiness. In the same Hotel Michael, you can find Table 65 restaurant at Level 1 for your European food cravings.
