LJ Reyes says forgiveness is still in the works
14 Oct – It's only been a month since she left the Philippines with her two children following her breakup from Paolo Contis, and LJ Reyes admitted that she is not yet ready to forgive and forget.
As reported on Manila Bulletin, the actress, who spoke with "24 Oras" recently, stated that forgiveness is not an easy feat and that it is currently in the works.
"All of us when we get hurt, we get angry, but you work on it every day. To forgive people, to forgive yourself, or whoever. You pray about it," she said. "For me, it's not an easy thing to give. So, just really surrender to God, and I'm working on it."
It is noted that LJ has been busy helping out in the family restaurant in Brooklyn since she flew to the US, though there is no news as to whether she has any plans to return to acting.
As for her two children, the actress stated that Aki, her son from her previous relationship with Paulo Avelino, is now attending school, while her two year-old daughter Summer, her only child with Paolo, is with her all the time.
