15 Jan – Liza Soberano recently admitted that she had once thought about quitting showbiz after losing the coveted role of "Darna" due to her finger injury.
As reported on Pika Daily, the actress, who sat down for an interview on Boy Abunda's talk show, shared that she really was struggling last year after she had to withdraw from the superhero project due to the injury sustained on the set of her fantasy series, "Bagani".
"I didn't know if showbiz was for me anymore. I didn't know if I was passionate about it anymore," she said.
Soberano stated that she thought a lot about it after staying away from the limelight during her one-month stay in the United States to undergo surgery on her finger, adding that she really enjoyed the simple life she had there.
"It was fun. It was stress-free. But I know it's because we were kind of on a vacation, right," she said.
However, the actress assured that she will stay, as she really loves her job as an actor.
"I'm very blessed to have everything I have now, but [at the same time] I'm a very simple person and I enjoy the simplest things in life and you do not get that in this job," she said.
