Liza Soberano doesn't consider herself beautiful
24 Aug - She may be known for her beauty as much as her acting talent, but actress Liza Soberano admitted recently that she never thought of herself as a beautiful woman.
According to Coconuts Manila, the actress, who spoke to Boy Abunda on his ABS-CBN talk show recently, said that she never felt like she's a great beauty.
"I don't feel it. I guess I have a different definition of beauty," said Soberano.
The 18-year-old, whose beauty was recognised by American singer Charlie Puth and The Chainsmokers' Andrew Taggart and Alex Pall, stated that she prefers classic beauty, and gave an example of Audrey Hepburn and Kendall Jenner.
"I like the simple kind of beauty, but very elegant," she said, though admitted that she doesn't think of herself that way.
Soberano also admitted that though she appreciates all the admiration, she does feel frustrated.
"Sometimes, I feel like that is all they see. I don't want it like that. I don't want them just to remember me because I'm pretty," she added.
