Liza Soberano admits pressure to look good at ABS-CBN Ball
17 Sep – Liza Soberano agreed with the notion that the expectation people have of her look at the annual ABS-CBN Ball has sucked up the fun of attending them.
As reported on ABS-CBN, the actress, who turned heads in previous iterations of the event, stated that she can never say that she is fully excited for this year's ball because of the pressure to look better than the previous ones.
"It makes me more nervous because I don't want to let people down. But I also don't want these expectations to get into my head," she said.
Soberano stated that the Ball was supposed to be something enjoyable, where the management and the artistes come together as one and mingle with each other.
"But for some reason, through the years, I feel more and more pressure. I just want to enjoy and spend time with my friends," she said.
The upcoming event will be held at Shangri-La at the Fort on 14 September.
