When Celine debuted its Winter 2021 collection, Parade, the Tabou crossbody calfskin bag immediately stood out as a runway must-have. Now, the Tabou is a centerpiece of exclusive images starring Blackpink’s Lalisa Manobal (known to her legions of fans as Lisa).

It’s no wonder that the Tabou features prominently in Lisa’s photoshoot: Its an instant fall essential, with a two-compartment interior and a removable crossbody strap. While the exact silhouette is brand-new, longtime Celine followers will recognize nods to the house’s archives in the Tabou’s decorative lock closure. This vintage-inspired detail first appeared in Celine’s 16-bag line.

“The design is classic but has a vintage flair, which I really enjoy,” the pop star tells Harper’s Bazaar in an interview about her solo debut and personal style. “These days, I’ve been drawn to long dresses, so I’d mix and match a long dress under a jacket or a coat with high-tops. I think the Tabou bag will be a nice accessory for a nice vintage fall look.”

While Lisas off-duty style leans on vintage pieces, her onstage aesthetic is thoroughly modern. In a sneak preview of her solo debut, shared with the performers 58.3 million Instagram followers, she wears a puff-sleeve minidress in a bold bandana print. Another album teaser shows Lisa in a pair of tall red boots and fingerless gloves.

“For this solo album, I tried to bring in different sides of myself that I haven’t been able to showcase so far—and that includes everything from my wardrobe to hair, makeup, and nails,” Lisa says in her Harpers Bazaar interview. “I’m really proud of the final product because I had so many ideas that I had wanted to incorporate.”

Onstage or off, Lisas style is guaranteed to inspire—including her takes on Celines Winter 2021 collection. See how Lisa styles the Tabou bag with key Celine pieces, then shop the soon-to-be-classic style below.
