Inside Lionel Messi's $10.75 Million Florida HomeCompass

Lionel Messi just landed a (real-estate) goal. After a few months searching—which even prompted one architect to design a concept home on the athlete's behalf—the Inter Miami CF star has finally found his new home, to the tune of $10.75 million. Clocking in at over 10,500 square-feet, Messi's Mediterranean-style mansion boasts 10 bedrooms, 9.5 bathrooms, a three-car garage, and a spacious pool that looks out to a stunning waterfront view. (Messi may not have his own private soccer field on-site, but don't cry for him; his home's Fort Lauderdale locale offers close proximity to the Inter Miami CF stadium.) And, in true legend fashion, Messi's new manse is decked out with amenities you usually see in a star-studded space: sun-drenched windows, an airy open-concept footprint, and a gourmet kitchen. In fact, one of our favorite features is its kitchen, which has sleek wooden cabinets, a spacious island, and stainless steel appliances. (The living area is a close second, thanks to its upholstered statement wall.)

According to Samuel and Donna Simpkin of Team Simpkin at Compass Florida, the soccer team's Official Real Estate Partner and the agents who represented Messi, this transaction holds special significance. "This is a full circle moment for us, myself having a soccer background and our team being deeply vested in the Fort Lauderdale community; it is truly an honor to help this organization continue to build its legacy," Samuel explains. "We believe our extensive market knowledge and keen understanding of our clients’ needs has led us to the successful sale of this property to the Messi family."

Though this might be Messi's latest addition to his real-estate portfolio, it's certainly not his first. The soccer star reportedly made his foray into Florida homes back in 2019 with a 3,555-square-foot condo in Sunny Isles Beach's oh-so-posh Porsche Design Tower. (According to the The Real Deal, he loved the building's privacy and unobstructed views—and ultimately paid $5 million for the luxe space.) Earlier this year, Messi reportedly traded in his older condo for a $9 million unit in the Porsche Design Tower.

And now? He's embracing a more suburban setting with this mansion near his stadium. If you need us, we'll be patiently waiting to receive our invitation to Messi's housewarming party....
