5 Aug – JJ Lin and Wilber Pan are not the only celebrities that had to take action against slanderers trying to link them to Kris Wu's alleged rape scandal.

It was recently revealed that mainland actor-singer Jing Boran has decided to go straight to the police after rumours of his supposed involvement with Kris' "activities" circulated online via WeChat, Weibo, Douban and other platforms.

In a statement released by the actor's studio, it was stated that they originally contacted their legal representative to deal with the matter, but decided to go to the police after realising that it would be impossible to gather evidence without the authority's assistance.

"Taking into account the seriousness and the nature of the incident, after discussing with Mr Jing Boran, the studio finally decided to call the police and accompanied him to the police station at 10.41pm," the statement added.

It was revealed that Jing had filed his report at the Beijing Jiangtai Police Station.
