Linda Wong couldn't wait to return to Taiwan

1 Mar – With COVID-19 vaccines starting to roll out, Linda Wong is excited by the thought that she would be able to reunite with her family in Taiwan soon.

As reported on Mingpao, the singer, who appeared in TVB City to shoot "Cantopop at 50", shared that she has yet to see her father, martial arts star Jimmy Wang since the latter was discharged from hospital in early February.

"But he is in good condition now. My younger sister is currently taking care of him and would often share his health situation with us online. I can't wait to finally return to Taiwan," she said.

Linda also expressed the need for the elderly to get COVID-19 vaccination the most, including her 80 year-old father, stating that they are the most vulnerable.

"But let's wait for more vaccines to arrive in Hong Kong first," she said.

At the same time, Linda, who is also a licensed yoga instructor, revealed that fitness centres have recently been given the green light to open and that she can finally teach face to face.

"To ensure safety, I will be tested for COVID-19 every two weeks," she said.
