25 Aug – Linda Chung can't help but feel overwhelmed with emotions when the topic of her kids were brought up at the press conference of her new drama, "Children's Hospital".
As reported on Mingpao, the actress who has been away from her two children since she flew back to Hong Kong to film the new series in June, stated that daughter Kelly and son Jared were supposed to come to Hong Kong several weeks after she arrived, but that the plan was disrupted by the resurging COVID-19 cases in Hong Kong.
"I could only FaceTime with my children and I felt so lost. I cried when I saw my daughter's photo, that the other actor I was with was surprised to see me like that," she said.
Linda admitted that she would feel disappointed from time to time because of the current situation, and that her husband has been working hard throughout these past few months to take care of them.
"Although I have hired someone to help, it's still different when your mother is not by your side," she said.
Speaking about the new series, Linda stated that she originally planned to only make her TVB comeback after her kids were all grown up.
"But I was attracted by the theme of the new series and I wanted to cooperate with Kevin Cheng and Kenneth Ma, which is why I decided to say yes to it," she said.
