Linda Chung not upset by another Best Actress loss

4 Jan - Although she has lost the Best Actress award yet again, this time to Rosina Lam, Linda Chung assured that she is not at all upset by the result.

As reported on On CC, the actress, who flew to Hong Kong from Canada to attend the TVB Anniversary Awards despite no longer being a TVB artiste, shared that she is just thankful to be able to participate in the event, as she didn't know when she will be coming back again.

"I might not even be able to get on the stage again, so I was mentally prepared for today. After getting the Malaysian award, I already knew that I may not be getting the chance again," she said.

Linda stressed that since becoming a mother, she enjoys the awards more rather than care too much about winning one. However, she did win an accolade for Favourite TVB Actress in the TVB Star Awards Malaysia category for her performance in "Kids' Lives Matter".

However, Linda's thoughts were not shared by many of her fans, who took to TVB official Facebook page to express anger over the result.

Many questioned the decision to give the award to Rosina Lam, stressing that "Battle of the Seven Sisters" was not qualified to win Best Drama. Some also expressed frustration that Linda, who has been nominated Best Actress more than five times, has been snubbed yet again.
