Linda Chung changes daughter's Chinese name

3 Jan – More than a year after daughter Kelly was born, Linda Chung revealed that she has finally found the perfect Chinese name for her only daughter.

As reported on Mingpao, the actress, who appeared at the New Year's Eve Countdown event in Tai Po recently, revealed that she and husband Jeremy agreed to change Kelly's Chinese name to Leung Oi San.

"There are three meanings. It can mean goddess of love, or it can also mean love of sun, which means she is a dynamic lively girl. Thirdly, it is also a homophone for "I love God"," she said.

Linda shared that since husband Jeremy doesn't understand Cantonese, she was tasked to change Kelly's Chinese name, which she did with the help of fellow actor Lai Lok Yi.

"Next time, if you feel like changing your kids' Chinese name, you should seek the help of Master Lai," she joked.

On the other hand, when asked about rumours that she will be establishing her own company in the future, Linda denied it, saying that she is still under TVB's management.
