Lin Chi-ling won't use her husband's surname
24 Jun – Two weeks after surprising everybody with news of her marriage, Taiwanese actress Lin Chi-ling recently made her first public appearance at the Royal Ascot 2019 in England.
As reported on Mingpao, the actress, who was at the event as an ambassador of LONGINES, was all smiles when approached by the media at the event, and gracefully expressed her gratitude for the congratulatory wishes.
Asked if she will be taking husband Akira's surname (Kurosawa) now that they are married, Lin responded, "The name that I have represents my culture and the love that everybody has given me. There will be no such changes in the future."
Lin also revealed that the Ascot race is her first gig since she got back from her honeymoon in Los Angeles.
The actress has also recently sent a thank you card to the media following her marriage announcement, writing, "It was all so sudden but beautiful nonetheless. Thank you, good friends, for all your hard work."
