21 Aug – Lin Chi-ling revealed that she has had so many people giving her "lucky charms" for pregnancy that she had to make them stop.
As reported on Epoch Times, the actress who made a short return to Taiwan to attend an event for UberEats, revealed that many friends have been giving her items like kids' diapers and toys - as well as other supposed "lucky charms" to be kept under her pillow, supposedly to bring luck in conceiving a child.
"It came to a point that I couldn't accept them anymore. My pillow is rising higher and higher," she said with a laugh.
However, Lin stated that she and husband Akira is thankful for all the gifts, as it proves that she is loved by her friends.
"We are praying every day in hopes that something good will happen one day," she said.
On the other hand, speaking of her endorsement of UberEats, Lin said that she would often use the delivery service whenever she is back in Taiwan.
"I love snacks like fries and minced pork rice. I would wear a mask whenever I have to collect the food in person," she said.
Asked if she had ever been recognised by a delivery person, Lin smiled and said, "Nobody recognised me so far. Just don't talk. You will usually be discovered as soon as you open your mouth because they recognise your voice."
