Lin Chi-ling shares a birthday update: 'Thankful for everything good that came at the right moments'
Married to Akira, a member of the Japanese pop band Exile, Taiwanese model Lin Chi-ling has resided in Japan for the past two years since her marriage. Since then, the 46-year-old has been travelling to-and-fro Japan and Taiwan for her work commitments.
And for three consecutive days starting from 27 November, the model posted Instagram updates on the topic of thankfulness.
“Having a good life comes from~ thankful for what I have, thankful to have met (the right people), thankful for the normal life, thankful for the surprises in life, thankful that we have all been this hardworking, always being thankful, allows us to feel fulfilled in life. Happiness can be this simple. Winter is here, and Spring will come soon,” she wrote.
She shared another Instagram post update on the next day (28 November) following the poetic feel from her previous post, highlighting thankfulness to her companions, and all of her friends and fans for the love that they had showered her. “Because of every single one of you, I could have a ‘me’ that shines. I look forward to being on the same land and creating more kindness.”
Earlier, netizens speculated that Lin wanted to have a child with her future spouse and had her eggs harvested and frozen at the National Taiwan University Hospital in 2014.
On her 46th birthday (29 November), Lin even shared a new photo of herself and thanked her mother in the caption. “Thank you mum, thank you for my life. Thank you to every sincere heart and every miracle. Thankful for my inability to reverse my age, always brave, always flexible. Thankful for everything good that came at the right moments.”
Fans flooded her Instagram with well-wishes for her birthday. However, the caption also invited speculations from fans that Lin might be with child even though nothing was mentioned.
