"Limbo" bags most nominations at Golden Horse Awards

28 Sep – Despite being snubbed at the Hong Kong Film Awards, the Gordon Lam-starrer, "Limbo" is still an awards' favourite, as it was reported that it has bagged 14 nominations for the upcoming Golden Horse Awards.

The crime noir, directed by Cheang Pou-Soi, is nominated in major categories that include Best Film and Best Director, as well as Best Actor for Gordon, Best Actress for Cya Liu, and Best Supporting Actor for Mason Lee.

It is also nominated in the categories of Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Cinematography, Best Action Choreography and Best Makeup and Design among others.

Following close behind is the Taiwanese horror, "Incantation" and "Coo-Coo 043", both receiving 13 nominations.

The upcoming Golden Horse Awards will be held on 19 November.
