Lila Moss has taught her supermodel mother Kate Moss how to use highlighter.
The 17-year-old, who is the daughter of the fashion icon and media mogul Jefferson Hack, landed her first gig as the face of Marc Jacobs Beauty last year, and her career has gone from strength to strength ever since.
And while Lila has learned a lot from her mother, she confessed in a new interview with InStyle that the 45-year-old needs her help when it comes to make-up.
"I've taught her how apply highlighter in the right places. Once, I noticed she did it completely wrong, so I had to correct it," she told the publication. "(But) she's shown me the best way to curl my eyelashes. She's always used an eyelash curler, and I used to be so scared to do it.
"Start right at the bottom rather than in the middle so that the whole lash gets curled."
The teen was on the receiving end of some wise words from her mum when she began shooting the Marc Jacobs Beauty campaign too.
"Before shooting my first campaign, she told me, 'Listen and do what they tell you to do.' It was intimidating, but it was amazing to know that I could trust Marc and the creative team. But I think the best lesson she has taught me is to, 'Work hard, be polite to everyone I meet, and to always make sure you're comfortable with whatever you're doing,'" the rising star shared.
Elsewhere in the interview, Lila discussed how she and fellow model Kaia Gerber, who is the 18-year-old daughter of Cindy Crawford, have had to work hard to make sure they have successful careers purely because of talent, and not a famous surname.
"Girls like Kaia Gerber, or Gigi and Bella Hadid are great examples. They are inspired by their mum's legacies but have shown that they each have different and separate paths from their parents," she added.
