Lifetime Ups Mariana Flynn To SVP Unscripted Development & Programming

Veteran reality TV exec Mariana Flynn has been promoted to SVP Unscripted Development and Programming for Lifetime.

Flynn joined the network in 2013 as VP to develop and oversee production of nonfiction projects. Based in Los Angeles, she reports to Liz Gateley, EVP and Head of Programming for the network. Her appointment rounds out Gateley’s core programming team that includes SVP Scripted Development Joanna Klein, SVP Unscripted Development and Programming Mary Donahue, and SVP Original Movies Tanya Lopez.

“Since joining Lifetime, Mariana has introduced a legion of new stars into pop culture with our highly successful Little Women franchise and shows like The Rap Game,” said Gateley. “Her experience and proven track record of creating buzzy hits has attracted a whole new audience to the network.”

Flynn joined Lifetime from TLC in Los Angeles, where she was VP Development, overseeing such projects as Something Borrowed, Something New; Cheer Perfection; Gypsy Sisters; and All-American Muslim among others.
