Kristin Cavallari celebrates her body in new bikini photo: 'Just because I'm a mom doesn’t mean I can't be proud of my body'

Kristin Cavallari is proud of her body.

The Laguna Beach alum, 35, took to Instagram on Thursday to share a new photo of herself posing in a cheeky black bikini, as well as two other photos from previous years in which she appeared thinner.

In the caption of her post, the Uncommon James founder shared, "I've been sitting on this picture for a few days going back and forth on if I should post it or not. Ultimately I decided to [because] I've come a long way from a few years ago and '’m really proud of the progress I've made. I don"t even recognize the girl in those other 2 photos..and no, I never had an eating disorder..that was purely stress."

Cavallari, who shares three children with her ex-husband Jay Cutler, added, "I work out really hard and am dedicated to a healthy lifestyle and I think just because I'm a mom doesn’t mean I can't be proud of my body and be comfortable in my skin. So, here ya go."

The Very Cavallari star received lots of love in her comments section. Her friend Justin Anderson wrote, "Proud of you always, but you’re next level lately. love you lovie." Ashley Wahler, the wife of her former Laguna Beach co-star Jason Wahler, shared, "You look amazing and you're a wonderful mom!"

Nikki Bella called her "gorgeously healthy" while Tamra Judge of The Real Housewives of Orange County added, "You look amazing and your hard work shows."

Cavallari previously posted a photo in what appears to be the same bikini on Instagram earlier in the week. She captioned the post, which revealed the front of the bathing suit, "Good morning."

The Hills alum spoke out earlier this week about feeling more comfortable with herself. In an interview with Us Weekly, she said she was working out with a personal trainer in order to build muscle. She explained, "I didn't realize it at the time, how thin I was. So I'm happy that I've put on weight."

Cavallari, who said her trainer has her lifting the "heaviest weights" she has in her life, added, "I feel the best I ever have. I feel like I'm the strongest I've ever been."
