Liam Gallagher has teamed up with Adidas to design his very own sneaker.
The former Oasis frontman, who has long been a fan of the German sports giant's footwear, first teased the collaboration at a London gig in June.
Now, Liam's shoes are about to be released, with the off-white LG SPZL design featuring his name and an image of his face on the tongue.
"Right ... here it is my Adidas LG SPZL collaboration. Absolute honour to have been asked to design and create such a Biblical trainer. Hope you like," he wrote on Instagram next to a clip of him excitedly receiving the first pair.
The shoe is a fresh take on the existing Padiham SPZL design, with Adidas' Gary Aspden noting that the designers made tweaks to the upper pattern but left it "neutral and understated".
"I have known Liam for over 20 years, and we have always got on. He is one of the people who has worn and supported what we do with adidas Spezial since day one, so this collaboration evolved organically," he commented. "Liam gave comments on each sample until the final version which we held off on showing him until we presented them to him for the first time backstage at his gig in Hackney. We filmed that moment as we wanted to capture his honest reaction. Anyone who has worn the three stripes loyally for as long as he has will understand that excitement."
The LG SPZL will be released on 30 August - just in time to celebrate Liam's forthcoming second solo album, Why Me? Why Not. The record is due to hit shelves on 20 September.
