Li Yapeng admits to new romance?
18 May – Chinese actor Li Yapeng seemed to have acknowledged his new relationship online by denying several rumours about the mystery woman seen with him last week.
As reported on Mingpao, the actor was recently rumoured to be dating again, after he was photographed with a woman who resembles his ex-wife Faye Wong.
Tabloids then began to speculate about the mystery date, with infamous entertainment critic Song Zude claiming that the woman is a billionaire.
Seemingly annoyed by the sudden interest and speculations about his rumoured girlfriend, Li took to Weibo earlier this week to deny all speculations about the woman.
He wrote, "She is neither an entrepreneur, nor does she have a net worth of RMB50 billion. She's just a writer who occasionally sings jazz, an independent woman who is very admirable."
"I understand that the media needs to boost traffic, but I hope that you can give us some respect. Thank you!" he added.
