Robert Lopez, the co-writer of Frozen's "Let It Go," along with his wife, Kristen Anderson-Lopez, insists he did not write that song to torment parents, or anyone with ears. I don't know if I believe him, but here's what he said.

"It was not written to terrorize anyone," he joked to Stellar magazine.

He continued: "It was written to solve a problem in the story, and to be a big moment. It's always that for us."

Lopez also shared that he still has great love for the song.

"When we get to see it onstage now, it's really powerful. It always makes us feel good to hear it."

OK, I can't fight it anymore. Let's just listen one (or seventy) more times. It's fine.
