Les' Copaque earns Best Company recognition at Made For The World 2020

12 Nov – Local animation production company, Les' Copaque Productions Sdn Bhd, has scored another achievement as it has recently received recognition as one of the best companies in Malaysia.

The company gained this acknowledgment at the 2020 Made For The World International Awards and Conference that was held in Kuala Lumpur.

Les' Copaque stated, as per Bernama, that "the recognition was given to celebrate the leaders of economy among industry players who have managed to continue operating and contributing to the economy during the current COVID-19 pandemic."

The evaluation was done based on the company's performance throughout 2019 and 2020, during which they continued dominating the television stations in both Malaysia and internationally. It recently penetrated the Turkish market and is also airing in Southeast Asian countries through Disney Channel Asia.

Aside from Les' Copaque, Xmegami Sdn Bhd and Red Wheels Trading are also among the local companies that are listed for the first-round selection.

Currently, the second round of selection is still running. Companies can submit their applications to support@niagatimes.com.10 cooperative categories and 15 main categories are featured in the second round.

The 2020 Made For The World International Awards and Conference is organised by NiagaTimes alongside Top 10 of Asia. The programme aims to "highlight the achievements and contributions of entrepreneurs in e-commerce, cooperatives, online and export sectors."

Les' Copaque, who is the intellectual property owner (IPO) of various creative industry content such as "Upin & Ipin", "Puteri", "Pada Zaman Dahulu" and "DaDuDiDo", also set an impressive record this year when they gained 10 million subscribers on YouTube.

This came after its animated film "Upin & Ipin: Keris Siamang Tunggal" was selected for nomination in the 92nd Academy Awards' Best Animated Feature category.
