Lenovo’s Yoga Book 9i Has Finally Made Dual-Screen Laptops Practical

·3-min read

The Lenovo Yoga Book 9i is a dual-screen laptop that was announced earlier this year at CES 2023. Unlike previous models with detachable screens, this one is a full clamshell laptop with two OLED 13.3-inch displays. The lower screen has some cool features built in, such as a virtual keyboard that can be activated by tapping with eight fingers. It also functions as an entire trackpad with two buttons and decent palm rejection.

For those who prefer a more traditional typing experience, the Yoga Book 9i comes with a detachable Bluetooth keyboard that snaps on top of the display. It is also bundled with a little flip-case cover and a stylus. The keyboard and cover can be combined to form a stand, allowing the Yoga Book 9i to be used as a dual 13.3-inch display, keyboard, and computer.

From our brief hands-on, this laptop is perfect for productivity or entertainment purposes. For instance, students can use it to type essays on the top screen while watching lecture notes on the bottom (we all know that’s hard to imagine). Alternatively, they can use the stylus to rewatch lectures and jot down notes on the bottom screen. The dual-screen mode is also useful for software developers who can code with two vertical screens.

The Lenovo Yoga Book 9i has a sleek gunmetal blue-silverish finish with chrome trimmings around the sides. It has three USB C ports, Thunderbolt 4, and an on-and-off button with a kill camera switch.

The @lenovo Yoga Book 9i really bends itself backwards to serve the user’s needs and the OLED screen is the real winner here #tech #techtok #technology #laptop #whattobuy #fyp #cooltech #fypシ

From initial impressions, the Lenovo Yoga Book 9i is a great device that offers a unique dual-screen experience. It is versatile and perfect for both work and play. The bundle form factor with all its accessories makes it super easy to carry around, and its thinness makes it even more appealing. The keyboard, cover, and stylus are great additions to the device, and the virtual keyboard and trackpad on the lower screen are an interesting touch.

The Yoga Book 9i is available for pre-order on 19 May 2023, and in stores on 6 June 2023, starting from S$3,699.
