"Legal Mavericks 2" celebrate Kelly Cheung, Owen Cheung
20 Jan – After winning Most Improved Artistes at the TVB Anniversary Awards, both Owen Cheung and Kelly Cheung went straight back to work for their new drama, "Legal Mavericks 2", only to be surprised with a small celebration by the cast and crew.
As reported on On CC, the two stars who appeared on the set of the said drama, were welcomed with some cake and champagne, with lead actor Vincent Wong telling the media that it was co-star Sisley Choi's idea to give the two actors the small celebration that they deserved.
Asked about their thoughts on winning the said category at the previously held awards, Owen said that it has boosted his confidence and given him a big motivation to work harder in the future.
Kelly agreed, adding, "I am thankful for the opportunity to come across a good script and character. I hope not to disappoint."
As to how they celebrated their win following the event, Owen said that he went home to have a quick dinner with the whole family, while Kelly revealed that she went for a spicy crab feast with her friends right after the event.
