'Leaves the tush feeling clean and groovy': This popular bidet is marked down to just $23

Are you flushing money down the john on pricy toilet paper? We’re not saying you need to wipe yourself with subpar tushy tissue — but we are saying there is a better way to get your hiney sparkling clean. A bidet can save you, on average, between $50 and $80 per year on TP, reducing your annual use of crapper wrapper by up to 75%. While a lot of people think bidets cost a ton of money — and to be fair, some of them do — the Veken Ultra-Slim Bidet is an absolute steal that's on sale at Amazon right now.

With two different spray modes this bidet will give you a more thorough clean and take good care of your derriere.

The current discount of over 30% off (when you apply the on-page coupon) makes this a match for its lowest-ever price. Not bad at all, especially when you compare it to other options on the market. Some of the highest-end models can be as much as $700. Toilet paper costs around $1 a roll on average, so if you save just 23 rolls, this pays for itself.

If you have never used a bidet before, it's hard to emphasize how much it improves the bathroom experience. There's a reason these gadgets have been so popular in Europe and Asia for so long — the US just hasn't embraced them yet. The Veken Ultra-Slim Bidet has a lot going for it, like two different spray modes. It has one for a posterior wash, and one for a feminine wash. Both use the medium pressure settings by default, but this can be adjusted to a lower or higher setting, depending on your preferences.

The bidet is also only a quarter-inch thick. You don't have to worry about compatibility with most toilets (just make sure you get the shape right), and it makes it so that the seat won't be pushed up by the installation of the bidet.

The water inlet — the point where the hose connects to the bidet — is made of stainless steel instead of plastic. Not only is this a much more durable material, but it reduces the risk of a broken or chipped piece of plastic leading to leaks. And if you're worried about the installation being difficult, you can breathe a sigh of relief. The installation is designed to be simple and the included instructions provide links to videos to help make the process even easier.

Once you go bidet, you never go back. And that's no bum steer. (Amazon)

When more than 22,000 people trust a gadget to clean their undercarriage, well, you can too.

One hip cat summed up their entire experience in just a few words: "Easy to install, easy to use, does the job great, leaves the tush feeling clean and groovy."

This product also converted one former TP user. "I will never go back to not owning a bidet. It is so much gentler than using toilet paper. It leaves you feeling much more refreshed and clean. And if you happen to struggle from any type of inflammation down there, it's far less irritating to the skin."

"This little attachment works better than all of the high-end bidets I have tried. Nothing fancy. Just on or off. Easy connection. Hits the exact spot. Once you get used to it, its just doesn't feel right when you sit down on a toilet without it," said one superfan.

Multiple users did complain about leaks but also offered advice on how to avoid the problem. "Do not over-tighten the T-adapter to the bottom of your toilet's fill valve; I made that mistake and it leaked. ... Use your own Teflon tape, and not the one provided with the bidet, because that one is very thin."

Some users found the spray to be a bit too robust. "I will say that the pressure is really strong for regular settings, so I’m just opting for the feminine wash settings. So far, so good. I don’t like how there’s a little cleaning required after you spray because it leaves a small amount of water on the back of the seat itself from the splash."

Multiple water pressure modes let you select exactly how much force you want. Don't worry — it doesn't have to be set on the highest setting to work.
