LeAnn Rimes is rocking some new ink!

The singer went to celebrity tattoo artist Daniel Winter AKA Winter Stone to get the words “god’s work” etched on her arm. We can see why LeAnn loves the “beautiful” finished product, which she showed off on social media.

Many of LeAnn’s followers took to the comment section to express how much they love the delicate body art, writing that it’s “perfect” and “so classy and from the heart.” But there were a few fans who took issue with one very particular detail.

The entire phrase was written in lowercase, and some weren’t pleased that she chose not to capitalize “god.” Many left responses in the vein of, “God should be capitalized” and “It’s God. Not god. FYI.” One said, “I luv it but God is GOD! God should have a capital G.”

But a flurry of her supporters stood up for LeAnn’s decision. “Some are pointing out to LeAnn that God is spelled with a capital G, not a small g,” someone wrote. “Although there is one Truth, remember everyone’s interpretation of the truth is different.” They also added, “I’m sure LeAnn knows the difference between God & god and she wrote it exactly how she wanted to, in how it’s meaningful to her.”

The wise response was well received by LeAnn, who wrote back to the user with a heart emoji. Despite any drama, LeAnn seems to love every single letter of her gorgeous new tattoo.
