Lea Salonga: No movie with Aga Muhlach unless there's demand!

9 Jul – Although she has no qualms reuniting with Aga Muhlach in a new movie, Lea Salonga thinks that they need more demands for it before she would say yes to such an idea.

As reported on Inquirer, the actress, who spoke about the possibility of working with the actor, stated that there has to be "a real clamour" for it rather than based on the opinion of a few on social media or just for the sake of nostalgia.

"If only a few wants to see us in a movie together, then I don't know if it's even worth it. I'm happy with the show I'm in. I love what I'm doing with 'The Voice,'" she said.

Salonga also stated that she is already satisfied with their last collaboration, the 1995 film, "Sana Maulit Muli" - directed by Olivia Lamasan.

"If that's the last movie we will ever do, then we'll always be friends. We can hang out. We have to feel that it's not just a few fans who are asking for it. I don't want to do it for nostalgia or as a stunt," she added.

Salonga's most recent acting project is the Hollywood film, "Yellow Rose" co-starring young Broadway star, Eva Noblezada.

The actress was scheduled to do a reunion movie with Muhlach in 2015, but revealed in March 2017 that the project has been cancelled.
