5 Jan - 22 years after they collaborated in "A Chinese Odyssey", Stephen Chow and veteran actor Law Kar Ying are reunited for the Cantonese voice work of the new movie, "Journey to the West 2: The Demons Strike Back".

As reported on Oriental Daily, Law, who played Monk Tang to Stephen's Monkey King in the 1994 hit movie, voiced the master of Kris Wu's Monk Tang.

He enthused, "Time has passed quite rapidly. This time, Stephen is the producer, and it is appropriate for me to be the voice actor. Since he wouldn't act in the movie, I wouldn't either."

"Let the kids play. We have already reached God-level," Law added with a joke.

Stephen shared that since Law's portrayal of Monk Tang was a classic, this time, he invited the actor to provide his voice for the Master instead.

"In the film, I play a guest award presenter, responsible for presenting the Lifetime Achievement Award to Monk Tang," said Law.
