9 Oct – Lau Dan has recently dismissed rumours of a conflict between his son Hawick Lau and ex-wife Yang Mi over having their daughter Noemie appearing on a parent-child reality show.
As reported on Mingpao, the veteran actor who was asked about the supposed issue between the former spouse, said that Hawick has already denied the rumours earlier and dismissed any notions of dispute between them.
"Not only is Yang Mi opposing it, my son also doesn't want to do it. He doesn't want his daughter to participate and he himself is not very good at doing reality shows. Noemie has a desire to perform, but it should be okay if it's only in front of her classmates," he said.
As for Lau himself, the "Come Home Love" actor stated that he would rather not let his granddaughter be in the limelight and instead live happily like a normal child.
"She has also recently entered the first grade of elementary school and is very happy about it," he added.
