LATAM is giving some of its cabins a complete overhaul, adding a brand-new business class suite, ergonomically-designed economy seats, and more.

The interior refresh, which the carrier plans to complete on 24 of its Boeing 787 aircraft, will be available for passenger flights starting March 1, 2025, LATAM shared with Travel + Leisure. The airline will upgrade both its Boeing 787-8 aircraft, which it flies domestically in Chile, and its Boeing 787-9 aircraft, which it flies in Chile, Brazil, and Peru.

"With a design that reflects the unique essence of the LATAM Group and attention to the finest details, our new cabins have been created to offer a world-class travel experience,” Paulo Miranda, the VP of customers at LATAM Airlines Group, said in a statement shared with T+L. “The new Premium Business seats mark a significant leap forward, combining comfort, privacy, and elegance. These renovations position LATAM as a leader in the industry, providing our passengers with an unprecedented level of comfort and an exclusive flying experience.”

In business class, travelers will enjoy a brand-new suite complete with a privacy door, which LATAM said would make it the first South American airline to offer one. Each suite will also feature up to 70 percent recycled leather and a sleek design with a marble-looking side table and small cubby for storage.

In Economy Plus, the airline will add more legroom, a larger recline, footrests, and exclusive luggage storage space. And in economy, travelers will also enjoy recycled leather seats and have access to 12-inch high-definition touch-screens with Bluetooth as well as be able to view content from Max, Paramount+, and Disney+.

The entire cabin refresh is expected to be complete by mid-2026.

LATAM is a partner of Delta Air Lines and offers mileage redemptions and reciprocal benefits for loyal customers. The South American airline flies to several cities in the United States, including New York City, Boston, Los Angeles, and Orlando.
