SINGAPORE – Learning doesn't stop, and with that in mind, the Lasalle College of the Arts' Continuing Education Programme has just launched some new short courses that might be of interest to the public.
These courses include a wide variety of skills and hobbies that are relevant to the arts–from digital marketing for the arts, ceramics, fashion styling, drawing/painting to video editing, photography and even dance.
The purpose of the Continuing Education Programme is to introduce new fields of interest and provide an enriching learning experience with no assessments to fret over. Taught by instructors who include full-time faculty members from Lasalle as well as industry professionals and practitioners experienced in arts education, courses are offered at convenient times and conducted in person or online.
Most of Lasalle's Continuing Education Programme courses are funded by SkillsFuture, with many supported by the National Silver Academy.
The new courses are set to be launched in September 2021 this year, with most of the long-running short courses now open for registration. Some of the short courses include video storytelling, acting, fashion styling and ceramics tile making.
