SINGAPORE – French cosmetics house Lancôme announced the launch of its first Beauty Tech Flagship in Southeast Asia on Tuesday (15 August). Open to the public from 25 August to 7 September, the flagship is located at Singapore’s Orchard Road, outside Mandarin Gallery.
Tiffany Young, the lead vocalist of Girls’ Generation, will be making a guest appearance at the media preview on 24 August, with special activities lined up during the event. An embodiment of strength as a modern, independent woman, Tiffany is a symbol of #StrongisTheNewYoung.
In celebration of their 13th year since the launch of the Lancôme Advanced Génifique, the brand will feature this iconic anti-ageing serum and the latest in beauty technology at the flagship. Promising a fully immersive experience, the flagship lets you discover the Microbiome-Skin barrier connection with its number one iconic Advanced Génifique Serum and the microbiome science behind it.
In addition, you can experience the Lancôme Skin Screen, developed with 100 per cent in-house algorithms to allow more inclusivity and better accuracy in its most advanced skin analysis service. You can also consult with Lancôme Singapore’s very own National Skincare Expert, one of ten selected globally, for expert beauty advice.
Lancôme Advanced Génifique is sold every six seconds
With one bottle sold every six seconds, the Lancôme Advanced Génifique Serum is a consumer favourite worldwide. It is a culmination of 15 years of research, harnessing the power and possibility of microbiome science to contain a unique complex of seven pre- and probiotic fractions. It is proven to strengthen the skin’s microbiome and helps the skin to recover 77 per cent faster.
Formulated with Bifidus Prebiotic, Hyaluronic Acid, and Vitamin C, the Lancôme Advanced Génifique accelerates the skin surface barrier recovery for stronger skin in one drop. A strong skin barrier helps to lock in hydration and defend against external aggressors including pollution, cold, and dry weather. It also improves elasticity and betters the appearance of fine lines caused by dehydration or thinning skin, which can eventually deepen into wrinkles.
What is the Lancôme Skin Screen?
The brand has combined 85 years of skin expertise with the very best of skin science, artificial intelligence, and beauty experience to present the most accurate, high-performance imaging system available.
The Skin Screen represents a breakthrough combination of tri-polar light technology, artificial intelligence, and advanced algorithms to measure 13 skin clinical parameters: wrinkles and fine lines, firmness, crow’s feet, texture, clogged pores, brown spots, under eye bags, surface spots, redness, UV damage, hydration, dark circles, and visible pores.
A complimentary Skin Screen consultation is available at the flagship for consumers to experience the hyper-personalised service. Working in conjunction with a skincare questionnaire and the expertise of Lancôme’s Beauty Advisors, the Skin Screen delivers a tailored skincare routine to answer the individual’s skin needs.
Génifique Immersion Gallery
A fully immersive educational gallery, complete with light projections, offers the public insight into the brand's futuristic world of Beauty Tech, as well as the science that powers Lancôme’s Advanced Génifique.
Write Your Strength Studio
Lancôme launches a nationwide #StrongisTheNewYoung campaign in celebration of its first Beauty Tech Flagship. The aim is to feature 50 inspiring women in Singapore across various professions, and cultural and social backgrounds. It is to inspire, empower, and uplift their community to be stronger together. These 50 women, in different stages and seasons of their lives, were invited to share what their strengths are in writing at Lancôme’s unique Write Your Strength studio.
The same Write Your Strength Studio will be stationed at the flagship to invite members of the public to be part of this inspirational campaign as they express themselves by writing their strengths in the lightwriting booth. This moment will be captured and shared to the consumers via a GIF, which can be downloaded so that they can spread their own empowering message to their community as well.
Génifique 7-Day Sampling Machine
From 25 August to 7 September, consumers can redeem a free seven-day sampling kit from the Génifique Vending Machine, consisting of the brand’s best-selling Advanced Génifique Serum and Eye Cream upon completion of their Skin Screen consultation at the flagship.
Making a difference with Daughters of Tomorrow
Since 2017, Lancôme has been empowering women through various global philanthropic programmes and partnerships. As part of the brand’s continued efforts to empower women, Lancôme will be supporting Daughters of Tomorrow (DOT) as their appointed charity for the Beauty Tech Flagship.
By deep-diving into the practical day-to-day constraints of these women, Daughters of Tomorrow offers hand-holding and individual coaching to help each woman reach regular and sustained employment, and supports existing training and workforce-related agencies by connecting volunteers and community resources to enable each woman on an individual level.
With every registered sample sign-up, a S$5 donation will be made to Daughters of Tomorrow to support underprivileged women in their back-to-work journeys.
From 25 August to 7 September, consumers can enjoy 49 per cent savings on Lancôme Advanced Génifique set and receive a Tiffany Young signed tote bag (while stocks last) when they shop at Takashimaya online.
