Lala Kent Says It's a "Travesty" That Rachel Leviss Didn't Come Back to 'Vanderpump Rules'
Sooooo, in case you missed her three (3) part interview on Bethenny Frankel's podcast, Rachel Leviss is not coming back to Vanderpump Rules. Which means the Scandoval of it all will have to endlessly chug along without her. And, somewhat surprisingly, Lala Kent seems extremely bummed that Rachel isn't joining Season 11, calling it a "travesty."
"It is a travesty that she didn't end up coming back," Lala said on her Give Them Lala podcast. "I'm not gonna say too much because we're in production. She should have come back. I think she would have been very surprised. And instead she went and did this, she was manipulated yet again by someone who says they hate Bravo."
But despite calling Rachel's exit a "travesty," Lala said earlier in the podcast, "I don't think that reality TV is for everyone. It is a very intense environment. If you are not mentally tough as fuck, it can break you. It definitely can. Now, to say that Raquel was the victim of something, I don't know. What I do know is, you made a choice to sleep with your best friend's—she said they weren't that close—your best friend's partner of 10 years. You did not need to do that. No one was forcing you to do it. No one asked you to do it."
FYI, Lala also accused Bethenny of exploiting Rachel for podcast streams, saying "I only saw clips, and what I gathered from it was Bethenny completely exploited that girl yet again. To me, she sat there and said, you know what this girl is going to be easy to manipulate because I'm Bethenny Frankel. Her story is crazy even though she brought it upon herself, and this is going to be the perfect way for me to place her in the narrative I'm trying to create."
At this point Bethenny doesn't appear to have responded directly to Lala, but she has responded to critics of her podcast with Rachel:
