The singer of "Saint Claude" has just released an EP entitled "La vita nuova." The new disk is named after one of the six tracks on the record, which is also a duo with American singer Caroline Polachek. As for the visuals for this latest project, the French musician, whose real name is Héloïse Letissier, has pulled out all the stops with a sumptuous video shot in Paris's legendary Opera Garnier, which shows her capering on the roof of the historic building, making friends with a faun, joining a dance class, racing through corridors in a flowing white dress and finally turning into a vampire on a dance floor.

Choreography for the video was created by Ryan Heffington, a Los Angeles-based dancer best known for his work on the Sia video "Chandelier."

Physical versions of the album will be available from April 10.

Fans of the French artist will be pleased to find that the new EP includes "People, I've Been Sad," a track that was unveiled in a Colors Studios video earlier this month. Last year, Christine and the Queens also featured on a collaboration with Charli XCX entitled "Gone."

Her most recent album "Chris" was released in 2018.
