Created by Netflix in collaboration with the Fever platform and the firm Secret Cinema, the event entitled "Stranger Things - The Drive-Into Experience" will allow fans to get inside the sets of the science fiction series, all from the comfort of their car.
Just two days to wait before fans of Eleven will be able to buy their tickets for" Stranger Things - The Drive-Into Experience." As of this Wednesday, August 26, at midnight Pacific time, spots for this immersive experience will finally be able to be reserved. For the cost of 59 dollars per car, the curious can take a tour through the town of Hawkins in 1985 -- and they don't even need to get out of their vehicle. An undeniable advantage given the context of the global health crisis and advised social-distancing measures.
This event, described as "a brand new event concept where you drive into the world of Hawkins and experience the Upside Down," will take place in Downtown Los Angeles. For the moment, the exact launch date has not been announced.
The experience will recreate all the cult locations of the series such as the Starcourt Mall, the top-secret Russian lab and even the Upside Down, seen in the third season of the series. Other surprises could also be in the cards, according to the official site.
The experience will feature special effects in a "living, breathing story," and reports suggest that visitors will be allowed to get out of their cars very briefly in order to take photos.
In total, the tour through Hawkins by car will last about one hour and visitors should be at least 12 years old. Those interested can already sign up to a waitlist for privileged access to the ticket sale.
