28 Nov– Kyline Alcantara doesn't dare to compare herself to Nora Aunor despite playing the latter's role in the upcoming television remake in Aunor's 1989's movie, "Bilangin ang Bituin sa Langit".

As reported on GMA Network, the actress, who spoke about playing the character Maggie in the upcoming series at the story conference, shared that she can never imitate Aunor's performance and can only give the character a "new taste".

"I am very happy [to play the role], but of course it's still a lot of pressure. It's been done before and can't be replicated. All I can do is to give it my own taste," she said.

It is noted that Aunor will also be involved in the project, playing the role of Maggie's grandmother, Cedes.

Aside from the two actresses, the upcoming remake also cast Isabel Rivas, Divina Valencia, Ricky Davao, and Dante Rivero.

The original movie tells the story of Noli, who marries another man after getting pregnant with her lover's child, and her daughter Maggie, who grows up and falls in love with a man not knowing that he may be her own half-brother.
