Kylie Padilla denies cheating on Aljur Abrenica
26 Oct – Kylie Padilla recently broke her silence over the allegation made by estranged husband Aljur Abrenica against her last week that she cheated on him.
In an interview with Jessica Soho on her show, "Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho", the actress stated that she never had any extramarital relationships with other men while they were formally married.
"It's okay if I really did it. I would say "I'm sorry," but I really didn't and that's what they kept throwing at me. How could I admit to something that I didn't even do?" she said, adding that she was too busy taking care of their second child and breastfeeding him to ever have time for such a thing.
"I know my truth, I know what I went through and I know what he went through. The only thing I know is that we were both unhappy," Kylie added.
She also dismissed rumours linking her to JM de Guzman, of whom some accused of being involved in her marriage, stating that she and JM just laughed it off.
As for the other women linked to Aljur, Kylie said that there were three of them, though declined to elaborate further.
The actress admitted that she decided to separate from Aljur for the sake of the children, saying that she didn't want sons Alas and Axl to witness more of their problems.
"I did not want it to last any longer and for them to be further exposed to it, because I don't want them to think that's normal in a relationship," she said.
As for AJ Raval, who bore the brunt of the scandal, Kylie said that she had wanted to talk to the actress as she understood how it was to be bullied by netizens.
"I wanted to talk to her, to help her out on how to handle it so we could avoid what is happening right now. But my help is not being asked so I will not give it," she said.
