Kylie Padilla and Aljur Abrenica tie the knot
13 Dec – After nearly two years of engagement, Kylie Padilla and Aljur Abrenica finally tied the knot.
As reported on PEP, Padilla walked down the aisle on 11 December in her off the shoulder gown by designer Mak Tumang, surrounded by red roses and candles in a romantic ceremony held at the Villa Milagros ancestral house in Rodriguez, Rizal.
The ceremony was recorded live on Instagram by father Robin Padilla, who attended the Christian wedding alongside wife Mariel Rodriguez. Mother Liezl Sicangco also flew back from Australia, while sisters Queenie and Zhen Zhen made it as her matron and maid of honour.
The couple also received a thunderous reception after holding their first kiss as husband and wife for more than ten seconds.
The wedding was attended by many celebrity friends including Abrenica's brother Vin and girlfriend Sophie Albert, Maritoni Fernandez and daughter Lexi, as well as couple Gabbi Garcia and Khalil Ramos.
The two stars, who dated and broke up a few years ago, were reunited in 2016. They announced in January 2017 that they were expecting a child while Padilla was working on her fantasy series, "Encantadia", and that the two of them were engaged to be married.
The couple welcomed son Alas Joaquin in August of the same year.
