Kyle Bornheimer Joins Netflix’s ‘Little Evil’; Mira Sorvino Goes ‘Behind The Glass’

Kyle Bornheimer has joined the cast of Little Evil, the Netflix horror comedy starring Adam Scott and Evangeline Lilly. Eli Craig is writing and directing the pic, about a man named Gary (Scott) who marries the woman of his dreams in Samantha (Lily) but finds out her 6-year-old son just might be the Antichrist. It is eyeing a 2017 bow on the streaming service. Bornehimer, whose recent credits include Hulu’s Casual, Angel From Hell, Brooklyn Nine-Nine and Better Call Saul, will play a fellow stepdad in Gary’s stepdad support group. He is repped by Haven Entertainmnent and Morris Yorn.

Mira Sorvino has joined the cast of Behind The Glass, a psychological thriller that marks the American directorial debut of Assaf Bernstein, who wrote and directed the original Mossad spy drama The Debt that was remade with Jessica Chastain and Helen Mirren. Sorvino joins Jason Isaacs and India Eisley in Glass, about a shy 18-year-old (Eisley) alienated by her parents (Sorvino and Isaacs) and known as an outcast by her high school peers. Her only confidant is her own reflection in the mirror, from which she derives comfort, a sense of belonging and, ultimately, her own demise. Ace in the Hole Productions, Dana Lustig Productions and Primary Wave Entertainment are producing, and shooting is eyed to start in mid-November. Sorvino is repped by APA and 360 Management.
